The Law closes with four words: "There is no more". It is the eighth sentence, a word of Master Cornelio that follows all the others and, in a sense, seals them. After the hinge of will, love, the star, respect for orbits and the sky within every being, one might expect a final revelation, a secret reserved for those who have come this far. Instead the Law offers a short phrase and then silence.
No further secret
Many esoteric traditions are built on levels: public teachings for all, reserved teachings for a few, successive grades that unveil ever more hidden truths. This structure has its charm, but it carries a risk: it leads people to believe that truth is always one step further on, accessible only after the next initiation.
The eighth sentence rejects this logic. There are no further secrets and no reserved levels. What the Law has to say, it has said. Everything has already been placed before the reader, in the sentences, the three voices, the Sacred Names, the rite.
This does not mean that the Law is shallow or can be understood in an evening. It means that depth does not lie in hidden content, but in the way you live what is already evident.
A path that leads back home
The Master's commentary adds an image that changes your perspective on the whole journey: the path does not lead elsewhere, it leads back home.
Those who begin a spiritual path often imagine they are heading towards something other than themselves: another state, another world, another identity. The Law proposes the opposite movement. The task, as stated from the very beginning, is to become what you already are. The star does not have to turn into something else; it only has to stop leaving its own orbit.
This is why "there is no more" does not sound like a disappointment, but like a relief. There is no elsewhere to reach. Home is already here.
Silence as teaching
The eighth sentence also introduces an idea that runs through the whole Law: silence itself becomes teaching. After the last word, what remains is not a void but a space in which what you have read can keep speaking.
This is why the phrase also appears at the end of the evening rite. At the seventh step you say "…and there is no more", the voice fades, you remain in silence and put out the candle. The Master ends the reading of the third voice in the same way: he speaks the phrase about the orbits of the stars and falls silent.
The final silence is not a pause before the next explanation. It is itself the completion of the explanation.
What changes in daily life
Taking this sentence seriously has some practical consequences.
Stop searching outside
If there is no more, the endless search for new doctrines, new masters, new techniques loses its point. Not because learning is forbidden, but because the point is not to accumulate. A single sentence lived deeply is worth more than many known on the surface. Every search, says the commentary on this word, must be made within yourself.
Accept sufficiency
Many people live with the constant feeling that something is missing: a piece of information, an experience, a confirmation. The eighth sentence proposes another possibility: what is needed is already there. Not as resignation, but as recognition.
Learn to conclude
There is also a very concrete aspect. Knowing how to close a conversation, an activity, a day without always adding one last thing is a form of wisdom. "There is no more" can become an inner phrase to repeat when you have said what there was to say.
An example
Someone has read a great deal, attended many gatherings, accumulated different practices. They always feel they are at the beginning, never arrived. They decide to stop for a month on a single sentence: "Every man and every woman is a star". They read it every evening, remain in silence, notice how their way of seeing others changes. At the end of the month they realise they have understood more in those weeks than in years of scattered searching. There was nothing more to find; there was what they already had, to be lived.
In short
- "There is no more" is the eighth and last sentence of the Law, a word of the Master.
- There are no further secrets or reserved levels: everything is already before the reader.
- The path does not lead elsewhere but back home: the task is to become what you already are.
- The final silence is not a void but a form of teaching, present in the rite as well.
- In life it means ceasing to accumulate, recognising sufficiency and knowing how to conclude.
